FarmX Phase 1 involves aggregation of existing cold & dry storage facilities in Tamil Nadu, India. We will be focusing on fruits and vegetables grown in Cuddalore District (Tamil Nadu, India). Our ecosystem shall empower 20,000 farmers. Our Tamil Nadu state-wide rollout would support up to 600,000 (6 Lakh) farmers of the 3.2 Million (32 Lakh) farmers in Tamil Nadu).
Our extensive field teams work in tandem with our sophisticated operations & FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) market analysts. This online platform can be leveraged by Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) and individual farmers to sell and store their produce. Private players will be able to now buy and sell from available FarmX inventory, including the harvest pipeline. Our tech platform will be integrated with Private and Government marketplaces and supply chains.
FarmX leverages agro-economic models and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to optimize holding time, replenishment rate, pricing models and crop mix – based on predicted prices and demand. All while incorporating essential IOT (Internet Of Things) and AI to track the health of perishables throughout the supply chain. Farm produce will also be processed as ingredients for consumer products. We will be partnering with universities and research agencies to optimize yield, irrigation and farming techniques. This includes students, innovators and farmers.
EBD leverages the best minds, experience, networks and funds for transforming the lives of farmers with a commercially sustainable model.
