Journey into the Pichavaram Mangrove Forest

The Pichavaram Mangrove Forest in Tamil Nadu (India), is one of the world’s largest mangrove forests. It is a biodiversity hotspot, home to a variety of marine animals & birds. 

EBD is exploring eco-tourism, sustainable livelihoods & economic development opportunities in the region. Partners include the TN government, global developmental agencies, private sector partners and the local community. Our goals being sustainable economic development, poverty alleviation and protecting the environment.
